Darren Oates is a fine furniture designer / maker based in Hawkesbury, NSW, whose pragmatic design sense is realised in work that considers form and function concurrently. Darren's pieces can be distinguished by their curvature - particularly created by bent lamination - and by their reclaimed or otherwise ethically sourced Australian native timbers.
