Bungendore Wood Works Gallery Closure

For over 40 years, Bungendore Wood Works Gallery has been a place where Australia’s finest woodworkers and artists have showcased their works. With deep appreciation and a heavy heart, we share the difficult news that the Gallery is now closed. Our last official trading day was 9 June 2025.

We'll be wrapping things up until the end of June, but the gallery won't be open for visitation. We can be contacted via email or phone.

History

Bungendore architect, Maurice Barnes, designed the Gallery to create the perfect environment for exhibiting wood and other artworks.

The Gallery was built in 1994 from Australian materials, including Jarrah posts, beams and staircase; Tasmanian Oak floors, Ebonised Victorian Ash frames, and New South Wales Flooded Gum wall paneling.
