New Wood Works Designs
We have been busy getting more workshop designs in to the Gallery.
These Ying Yang candle holders are ready and waiting for our special order class inserts to arrive.
Stock arrived from our woodturner, Jim last week (18 to 21, 2021). I finished oiling/polishing them and they have gone to be wired.
On Wednesday 21 April Jim helped to prepare our supplies of burl for the next two months of experimental (play) works.
We've also been busy designing, getting our heads around some sold geometry and enjoying some after dinner design head-scratching time.
Thursday 22 April
The next morning: selecting about 3000 kilograms of burl from Graham Skillen to last us hopefully 18 months.
Monday 26 April
I received more stock from Jim and was busy over the weekend oiling and polishing it all, ready to deliver to the Gallery.
A very productive weekend, and some exciting design developments to come.
